These expansion packs are designed after the six of the top legends of NASCAR who are Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, and Tony Stewart.
The pieces which are included in these six Lionel NASCAR train set expansion packs are somewhat different in a minor way. They all have a flatcar with trailer, a flatcar with car, and four straight tracks which can expand the layout of the original train set layout from 40" x 60" to 50" x 70". However, Jeff Gordon's expansion pack has an additional vatcar, Jimmie Johnson's expansion pack has an additional flatcar, Kasey Kahne's expansion pack has a 2-tier auto carrier, and Tony Stewart's expansion pack has an additional special team sponsor car. Both the junior and senior Dale Earnhardt expansion packs have an additional boxcar.
